A mouse is given a complimentary weekend vacation to a cabin in the remote woods after a long month of hard work. What he doesn't know, however, is that his gift package also includes a Stalking scene performed by a Huntress, a sex worker who performs a dominatrix-like service for prey eager to experience being hunted and even occasionally consumed, by a predator. I avoid calling it BDSM outright because it's my own spin on powerplay and from what I understand actual BDSM people hate pretentious authors who give false impressions of the scene.

Those who have read These Messages and last year's Voretober may recognize the star of this story as the wolf Ayra who gave some life advice during a hunting foray with Vana the fox.

I always love the level of detail in your work. The brand of the squeaker, the Wheel and Ball, the tier three team to block the exits, "why the cats," it's excellent.

And the rollercoaster itself, from terror to confused pleasure to just a calm conversation, great work.

Thank you! I wasn't sure how having that much downtime at the end after the action would come across. I do like alternate swears, they're more fun than using real ones lol.

Great work as always. Such a pleasure to see authors who have well-developed settings for their stories.

To me, the setting is another character that has as much an influence on the plot as anyone else, maybe even more so. Thank you for the kind words.
