One thing that stays rather frequent in my canon for vore art is that prey respawn after digestion (tho I keep the fate of prey vague so that both the fatal and non fatal camps can enjoy it.) That said, every now and then, I'll gladly go down the perma path if it makes for an interesting premise.
So, to make an example, say if Basil, a vegan* and animal rights activist, eats the head of an organization that is sincerely not helping the cause that both they and she support, with the bullshit they pull... yeah, perhaps I'll make it perma, as to imply she made the spot open for a smarter person, more invested in the cause, to take over... does this make sense for a vegan to do this? Hey, he didn't die to become food, he was already food before he died~
...anywho, njoi~

So would it he more accurate to say your universe has a "rebirth" system of some sort and that if a certain individual either has the know how or the money they can be reborn and retain or "relearn" things from their old life? With predators or a special few able to defy that system of rebirth should their prey go against their beliefs/way of life?

Nah, that's a bit over the top for me. I like to keep it simple.
The respawn system I have implemented literally just has you wake up in the last place you slept after digesting, remembering everything, and unless your pred burps up your shit, you'll come back with it. Noone can control it. Noone can manipulate it. That said, if one was to not respawn after digesting, it's because they died somehow whilst in the pred's belly.
The only times it isn't implemented is when I draw a rare thing like this, or if I'm RPing with a friend, and we're just chowing down on nobodies.

Fair enough, my brain cones up with random ideas to explain what I am seeing sometimes, without proper context... sorry about that

Sometimes I annoy people with my thoughts about what is going on and think I am trying to make them change things or get free art from them, but I am not. While i would love to be able to commission some art myself, I am far too busy with my job to bother... maybe one day.

I guess my next question would be do those who respawn lose any memories? As in they repress the experience of them being digested and possibly lose some of their more recent memories? Cause if not then I worry about those people who have respawned nimerous times... such trauma tends to break people's mind xD

Shifting gears, what would it mean for the predator if they "kill" the person they eat? Is there some kind of legal system that responds in those situations in your world, or would these kinds of situations be handled by a special ops group that tries to track down these dangerous individuals for possible recruitment or monitoring?

If this is too much, then you do not need to go into great detail... I just really enjoy learning about the worlds other people create and will sometimes learn new things to use in my own story-based vorish worlds

As i said before, all memories are retained. As for how law would come into play should a prey be killed? It'd just be seen as murder, unless they could prove they didn't kill their prey.

which just means all predators just have to be sneaky enough not be caught red-handed xD and prevent their prey from seeing who they are

"What? No he didn't! ...he was already food before he died. 9u9"
(In all seriousness, I feel she would have this be the extremely rare occasion of breaking her own rules, just to handle a useless dolt~)

“Suuuuure!~”
(I agree, it’s just fun to poke fun at obvious things. Still good work.)

very good excuse

By the way, I'm not vegan, Basil could eat me and justify that he did it to save more animals XD
