And that's what happens when you roll a string of nat ones. Or the dragon just constantly rolls criticals. Dragons would never cheat though!
Either way, bad luck of the dice get your party a permanent stay in the dragon's gut! Try not to give her indigestion. Not that she'd complain mind you, her body's too strong and scales too thick to get through from the inside.~

"The prophecy of victory over the dragon was naught but a lie to bring comfort. The legendary Dragonbane Relics our heroes gathered were mere trinkets crafted by a swindler centuries ago. The great journey's path led straight down the dragon's gullet and into her belly, where the adventure was always destined to end. Our heroes met their inevitable fate as a meal that would be quickly forgotten, and the dragon lived happily ever after."
20/10 campaign, would run again.

"And once they were all digested into extra mass on her frame, the dragon would start the 'grand tale' of the so called Dragonbane Relics all over again. Laying the seeds of rumors, of promises of fame and glory, things most adventurers would be unable to resist.
While it was a somewhat roundabout way of bringing powerful meals to her, she never grew tired of the look on would be heroes' faces when their precious 'relics' failed."
