I commissioned one last image from :iconTheGoodSinner to complete the Dryad & Nymph sequence. So we're ending with a cute image of the dryad resting on her nymph lover, both of them enjoying the afterglow from dealing with the intruding woodcutter. At some point, I should write up a story to go with this little scene.

I haven’t decided, so neither has the dryad. She’s still in the dryad’s womb, though she’s been shrunken down to a size the dryad feels she can handle carrying around for a decade or three while she’s deciding what to do. Since she didn’t get melted into fertilizer for the forest right away, she’s likely to come out as a baby dryad/nymph crossbreed if she’s lucky, or a sapling to be planted in place of the tree she cut down if she’s unlucky. But since redwood trees live a couple thousand years, their tree-spirits don’t feel a need to make that sort of decision hastily.
