Ending on a High Note By thecheese01 -- Report

She felt, more than saw, the kiss expand. The lips against her own spread, and her face was gradually enveloped in even greater warmth paired with near total darkness. Alison’s tongue retreated, only to return as it lapped along her chin, her neck, her clavicle, each press sending another faint shiver coursing through the redhead’s body.

Hey, you see those tags over there, on the right side of the—no, no! Don't look directly at them! They're easy to anger, and they can sense your fear. Also, they spoil stories. Maybe don't read them if you like being surprised.

Ahem. Anyways...

Hello again. Last time didn't work so well. Let's try this again. Tonight, we've got something a bit more intimate. Definitely closer to my usual fare, although I tried to venture into some new territory. Hopefully you enjoy. Also, as you might have guessed if you've read the story, this thing was supposed to ready by Valentine's Day. That, uh... didn't work out.

A huge thanks to  Progressive for offering feedback and proofreading on this.

Word count totals at that weird nebulous region where I might be perceived as exaggerating if I call it 4k because it really rounds down to 3.9k but also it's pretty close to the middle and honestly at that point can't you just round it to nice even 4k and call it a day?

Moderate Spoilers Below

Apologies for the title. I know it's a lie, but after tagging this thing honestly I had to have at least some meta aspect of this play into the deception. Hopefully it wasn't too disappointing. And, why yes, this story is in fact a call-out to all you non-fatal partial digestion folks who never acknowledge the dangers of long-term hair loss. Thank you for noticing.

Mmm, I really like this story. It's got just enough of a danger that it feels threatening, but ends up being rather cozy. Definitely steamy and romantic though.~
