“However, that does not make me complacent. You are dangerous, and most importantly: uncontrollable. That makes you a liability. Executing you would be wasteful, but I can’t have you kept nearby.” Once again flipping through the dossier, TK-141 was able to make out a recognizable figure as he turned the pages.

“That Dinosaur?” They mumbled; every trooper at least knew of the veteran-considered ancient by the standards attributed to her kind-but still a legend even to this day.

“Yes, her. Someone to whom you can inflict no possible harm, and the only person on this station capable of keeping an eye on you.” With that, he reached across the desktop and retrieved a rubber stamp. A soft clack reached their ears, and he closed the vanilla folder.

“I trust you can show yourself…” His eyes rose from the document, the growing rumble that filled the air capturing his attention. The stormtrooper across from him lowered their helmet, pawing at their stomach. After a few seconds of consideration, locked eyes with the man in front of them.

A beat passed, then finally the stool’s legs snapped in reaction to the force of the soldier leaping forward over the desk. A flurry of papers erupted into the air as the table rocked from the sudden weight rocketing across it. With no time to escape, the officer behind the desk was snatched up by the trooper’s arms, and halfway embedded in their throat by the time they hit the floor. Raising their meal skyward in yet another act of insubordination, TK-141 gulped down the officer in a series of easy swallows-adding his writhing form to the boiling mush of his predecessor.

Huh. It's been a while. And that was BEFORE the world started ending, even. Oh well, what matters is that the comic gets finished eventually, right? Page three will be similarly delayed, though hopefully for not quite as long-since it's due to a technical issue, rather than a time constraint.

That being said! I hope you enjoy the long awaited second page of BETA, and eagerly look forward to the third, fourth and so on.

I'm super hyped to be back in action with this, and while I know the next one is a bit off-I'm really excited to be at least somewhat consistently bringing one of my ideas to you all.
