Better have a lot of cash, Konoko would absolutely try to sell Maria for as much as she could. Though then she'd have to argue about Maria having value and that'd just piss her off.

I love this! I actually had a similar idea where a sorceress swallows up some tasty humans and converts the digested prey into small, flat "prey tokens" to sell at her shop. Then, the transformed prey can be reconstituted with a little bit of minor magic and swallowed up again!
