thank you~ This didn't take me as long to draw as that other one but this one has a lot less panels and backgrounds so instead of 2 weeks it only took me one xP I would like to make more comics with more pages but Id have to go with a style that's not this rendered if I want to actually finish a project lmao

I feel that, sketch comics for life, heh. Might try to hunker down and actually draw a long form black and white comic one day, colors are for the illustrations.

Yeah, I feel that I personally don't like just leaving it to be a sketch and just render it out with color and shading. Ive been so used to doing illustration all these years for practicing trying to get better but having my brain adjust to keeping it simple but also neat is such a struggle lmao. Im sure I can figure It out If I study more comic artists. arts have been sadly slow because of work and school and just real-life responsibilities getting in the way :C Im sure I'll figure it out eventually tho.

I'm like in a weird opposite boat where I like sketching but am too impatient to (and also suck at) fully render out things. Which sucks because contrast and stuff is impoooortttaaaaant.

<3 thank you~ was a lot of fun to do the wetness part. I still need to get around to finishing Chocola RPG Ep 2 but I got stuck on that puzzle with the trees and bushes after you save that bun from the dragons stomach xP Because I really want to play EP 3 but I want to finish 2 first to not skip ahead of the story. a possible hint maybe >.>?

Oh yeah that one haha I'm not good at making puzzles but uh hmm well I do have a walkthrough of the puzzle I made for someone else a while ago if you want that :3 And that wetness is real good too x3

if you can that would be great! I don't blame you its hard to make puzzles that aren't too challenging but also not too easy xP

I’m blown away, this is art goals for me, so many interesting little techniques, I never even thought to use chromatic aberration for rim lighting

kelova

Posted by kelova 3 years ago Report

chromatic aberration can make drawngs really nice but it can also ruin it. you really REALLY dont want to overdo it. my tip is to try and make it as subtle as possible. I only use it if im trying to fully render an artwork but other than that its not really all to common to use c:

I appreciate it, I’m just trying to learn as many little tricks and techniques as I can
