Lyra watched contentedly as her beloved pets sunned themselves in the pristine surroundings of her glade, happily digesting their meals. The dryad walked over to Voldra, who's recent catch was still wiggling vigorously.

"You didn't need my help at all this time, with that clever angling lure of yours," she purred, patting her pet's full belly affectionately, happily noting the muffled sobs still issuing from within. "Be sure to enjoy her, you don't get a meal this young and healthy very often. And no nasty clothes to digest either, a very lucky catch indeed," the nature spirit drawled, finding a nice sunny spot of her own to stretch out in.

Lyra was afforded very few chances to strike back at the humans who had ravaged so much of her homelands, but she savored those opportunities when they came. She savored them a bit more than was really healthy, her sisters always told her, but that didn't deter her in the least. She was doing it for her home, after all. Or so she argued.
