Amaya, the tastiest human on the farm, has finally been sold to the highest bidder. Her vixen caretaker Vicky is finally going to have to say goodbye to her beloved morsel- and unexpected lover- and let her their summer come to a close. They only have one more night together. But can they really stand to part?
The above sort of sums up the story so far (as much as a single paragraph can), but this submission is in fact but a single chapter of the seven-part story "A Fox and Her Girl".
----Credits - The Story Of The Story (and where to find the rest)
Quite a few furry fingers in this literary pie; hopefully I can get it all straight and give proper credit.
The story "A Fox and Her Girl" takes place in the larger "Graduation" universe, created by wolfSnack and
MarkusFreeman320 (with the occasional input of several others I believe).
wolfSnack commissioned another writer,
TheLustyArgonian, to create this story as a part of that universe. But being a writer herself, she ended up editing or rewriting various sections.
wolfSnack and I share most of our in-progress work; I took a liking to the characters and started giving my own input at her request. "Giving my input" turned into an all-out rewrite as we got into this chapter. I don't think the two of us left more than two or three paragraphs of the original commission intact. (Which, to be very clear, was far from bad; we just had some inspiration and a strong feeling of how it should go.)
Though I did help a bit on previous chapters, this is the only one where I actually wrote large swaths of content, so it's the only one I'll be uploading to my own gallery. You can find the complete story over in wolfSnack's gallery.
Oh, and before I forget: the sketch in the middle of the chapter is from MarkusFreeman320.
