Demonic Intervention By YepMcNope -- Report

Or, "Shut Up and Kiss Already!"

In which we establish an unfortunately-common day in Uvarliette Khneed's basement breeding facility. The daily lives of livestock are, well, about what you'd expect, really.

The second part of "Human on the Inside," a multi-part series which I've had in the works for a while.

>And every time, the lack of results has seemingly left his Gloomite captor on the verge of getting rid of him.

>But then she paired him up with Julia, another girl with a similar issue. And well, they still haven’t produced any results, but at least the two of them seem to like each other. So Uva leaves them alone.

This passage is oddly sweet. I mean, ignoring the fact that they are both being used as livestock

>If they won’t breed with each other, Uva is more than capable of forcibly breeding with them herself.

Ooh... I imagine that with her rubbery body, she can bend her anatomy enough to impregnate a human female... But I wonder what Uva forcibly breeding with you entails for a male...

Oh. Continuing the story, looks like we're finding out

>That, or if she can’t find a seller but wants to get rid of you anyway, she’ll just eat you herself. That’s a punishment generally reserved for the most poorly-behaved livestock.

Wonder if that's partly because Uva prefers meals that fight back...

This is probably not for everyone, but I find Uva first trying to seduce Gabriel, then eating him when he says to be infertile, a pretty arousing dynamic.

>“You… have been sold!”

Ouch. Right when things seemed to be finally on the path to improve, the two lovebirds get separated. Perhaps permanently.

Yep. Uva's a hard worker with her eye on the prize, and as a result she makes priorities and isn't afraid to cut her losses. But she's not out to make things worse for humans deliberately. She's more than willing to live and let live if it's not getting in her way.

>Ooh... I imagine that with her rubbery body, she can bend her anatomy enough to impregnate a human female...

I don't want to go into too much detail, but you've pretty much got that right, yeah.

>Wonder if that's partly because Uva prefers meals that fight back...

She doesn't explicitly. It's just a consequence of doing things the old-fashioned way, snatching up humans with tractor beams and detaining them to be bred and sold.

>This is probably not for everyone, but I find Uva first trying to seduce Gabriel, then eating him when he says to be infertile, a pretty arousing dynamic.

Isn't it? And she does it all without a second thought. She's certainly practical, to say the least... well, aside from the "forgetting she's being watched because she's so hungry" part. That probably wasn't very conducive to making her job easy.

>Ouch. Right when things seemed to be finally on the path to improve, the two lovebirds get separated.

Yeah. Maybe if they had swallowed their fear and just kissed already, things would have turned out... actually, they'd probably have turned out exactly the same.

>I don't want to go into too much detail, but you've pretty much got that right, yeah.

Wonder if that would end up creating human-Gloomite hybrids, and thus messing up with her stock. Or, well, diversifying it.

>She doesn't explicitly. It's just a consequence of doing things the old-fashioned way, snatching up humans with tractor beams and detaining them to be bred and sold.

Oh, I meant the fact that the ones who end up eaten by her specifically are the rowdiest ones. It is a consequence, but I'm sure she doesn't mind :P

If she did she could dispose of them in other ways, like... hmmm... why not feed them to the other girls?

>Yeah. Maybe if they had swallowed their fear and just kissed already, things would have turned out... actually, they'd probably have turned out exactly the same.

Haha, I see your sadistic goddess capabilities which were thrown around in your very first story are now being used for a more grim scenario.

Could happen, but not the way Uva is doing it.

>hmmm... why not feed them to the other girls?

Being stretchy enough to swallow others isn't a trait inherent to humans in this universe... though, I suppose Uva could always say, "not with that attitude" and try to figure out another way to pull that off.

>Haha, I see your sadistic goddess capabilities which were thrown around in your very first story are now being used for a more grim scenario.

True, true. Mixing lighthearted and dark content is just sort of my style, I suppose. Even if it means total tonal whiplash from one entry in a series to the next.

Damn, this series is making me depressed. Dehumanization to the level of a concentration camp, being reduced to nothing but food slaves and products to be breeded like pit-fight dogs; to be abused and used until redundant. It's way to life-like for me.

Although if you are building it up so that Uva get's what she deserves, I am all for it. You are setting it up to absolutely hate and loath her and should it happen it will be very deserved.

Whether you find it satisfying or unsatisfying, I will say that the way this continues and ends will be something you won't see coming...

I've always had an idea in my mind of a certain scene, and this story series was originally conceptualized with the end of creating that particular scene in mind. And though it's still integral to the story, I've built so much else around it that it might seem a little jarring when it finally comes up, haha.

But everything happens for good reason, I can assure you. Even when it seems like things aren't going the way you'd like, there's something deeper going on...

Thank you for the reassurance!
