There is a primordial energy known as the Hunger Force that permeates all creation. Beings who can channel it can swallow and digest anything, but using this power comes with a great risk. Existing within the Hunger Force is a malevolent being older than time- the Gaiavore.
The Gaiavore attempts to possess and control predators. Absorbing the power of their prey, the Gaiavore’s host becomes stronger and stronger with each victim until they become strong enough to devour the universe itself. Billions of dimensions have been devoured by the Gaiavore.
The ultimate goal of the Gaiavore is to find a host who will grant them their full power in the physical world. Gracie, already able to eat thousands of people at once, is their target. If the Gaiavore succeeds in possessing her, the entire omniverse would be doomed, as all of time and space would be eaten and digested.
