In a D&D world it would be the bard making "deals" with monsters and coming back to town with the loot from fallen adventurers.
At the Rogue's camp is the this druid, who often returns out of breath but carrying something valuable. Those wands are worth money, you know. Scratching her lips on a certain thorny bit is pursuit of loot hasn't put her off and not even that one time she had to take a year off adventuring for "family reasons" was enough of a deterrent to keep her from soldiering on.
As for the necromancer, it isn't her job to rescue him. He can find his own slimy digestive way out of his unfortunate situation. Serves him right for playing Hardcore.

When magical beasts are abundant and overeager adventurers plentiful it pays to be able to talk to animals

It also pays to approach them when they are already full. 83

I will admit, thanks to Diablo 3 allowing you to play male or female versions of each class, I had hoped the remake of Diablo 2 would have allowed for the same.
Though I suppose the Amazon would have required a alternate class title. Gladiator, maybe?

When I drew this I obvously (being me) wanted a female druid and I couldn't remember whether there was a character gender option. And there isn't. Which you would think they would have added.

Makes me wonder, now, if your female druid has ever used werebear form to devour others.
Enemies and heroes that, while not yet slain, are too injured to fight back.
Why wait for a predatory monster to finish them off when she can do it herself? Get the items she wants to keep or sell, AND get a meal out of it, too.

She may be an elemental druid or summoner. The male werebear Druid I drew recently clearly eats monsters.

always have a druid and a bard in your dnd party , you never know when you'll need someone to translate between you and a hungry pred , and someone to sacrifice

In this case the quill beast swallowed the necro whole and the druid is about to swallow the quill beast whole. Part of him anyway. 83
