Alistair raises the plate further with a grin. “You can’t see yet, it would ruin the surprise!~”

"Oh no you don’t, you red-tailed thief!" Alistair exclaims, lifting the platter another few inches, his muzzle twitching with a smile. “You can’t fool me with your tricksy vulpine wiles...~”
