I always liked gununng . It made it that the protagonists of the story were the villains. yes they were forced into it in a survival of the fittest setting. However They still were more the villains.
But my favorite part was that ut explored their mental states . From the POV of how they view themselves and how they are view by others. Especially gabi , as you could de the similarities between her and the naga. Gabi’s has always seemed mentally unstable. But gunnung took it further and had her mind actually deteriorate to the point of being almost nothing more than a wild animal. Then having her actually develop as a character because if it. She still remained the murderous glutton , but now with a more developed personality.
