Too many cars holding it open , panic makes people run fast . Plus that many cars stacked takes time. No way she finishes swallowing before most people escape even with her skills

Guessing this is a highway, crashing into a maw filled with cars would be quite fatal. Now since this is with *all* cars, perhaps the shock could just be from the impact?
