Maybe shes the local caretaker of the orphans in the town? Their parents were eaten and they need a place to go, and she loves the youngsters.
The thing is she also loves them in other ways as well, like their taste and other pleasures of the flesh.
An since she looks after the orphans no ones really paying attention when the local population shrinks without notice, but hey why would they care to much? She provides the local town with plenty of fresh fertilizer for the fields.
