A book I beta read was just released (The Bygone Caper, if you're interested, though it's the fourth book in a series) and I've already been asked to beta read the next one. This is a story I daydreamed over the course of several weeks while discussing the series with the author. He would be very puzzled by this bit of fan fiction, but I did my best to match the style of the story, even though this would never ever happen in it.
