A 500-pound tiger weighs 2/3 as much as Uvuzi does. Just the same, she swallowed this year's animal a lot more easily than she would a humanoid only half her weight. Shoulders, the bane of many a swallow whole predator.
It took her more than an hour to swallow the tiger and she'll need more than a week to digest him. Still easy work compared to last year's ox. She's not looking forward to the year of the horse.
Where did she get a tiger? Uvuzi has a fair number of friends in high places these days. It's probably an arena beast that proved untrainable. That's how it works for trained monsters in the arena. Cooperate and people end up inside you. Cause too much trouble and the roles are reversed.

There is year of dragon in two years. She, probably, needs to prepare in advance already. I mean - finding an edible dragon in a right time for celebration is hard.

She can probably just suck off a dragon and count the many, many potential baby dragons she digests. Prey dragons small enough for her or Nyoka to swallow are rare and even small ones are very dangerous prey.

Doesn't feel that dangerous compared to the many other creatures she's eaten. Bears, Tigers, Modrons, Gryphons.
Her stomach seems to win out in the end.

Uvuzi knows there are much more dangerous creatures around than her. Dragons are at the top of the list due to breath weapons, magic use and in general being bigger and stronger than she is. She and her sister are well aware they are lucky to have eaten even one dragon. Uvuzi has had two and Nyoka only one,

Another poor tiger meet his demise on his own year. How a sad year!
I really love it. I can imagine Achilles to be here. Great work as always.
