Part of why I love kobold preds is how unthinkable it is that they could get the better of someone. If you told that bag of snacks a month ago that they would all be gobbled up by 'mere kobolds', they would have scoffed at you!
"Surely we can overcome such meek little servants!"
"They're harmless, beneath our concern!"
