Vore Superheroes: Cries for Mercy (Good End) By Vesari -- Report

"BREAKING REPORT: This is Caroline Byrne of the Channel Five News. We've just had a report that a vicious supervillain attack near the city centre has left nine people dead. The villain in question was dispatched by a local C-class superhero. The families of the deceased are expected to receive a hefty bill to repair the property damage.

Moving on to more important news, the four-o'clock bus was several minutes late today..."

Last week, my Patrons picked Superheroes in A Vore World: Unmoved by Cries for Mercy as their choice to get an alternate ending. Well, I ended up feeling so inspired, I wrote two endings, a good one and a bad one!

If you're interested in checking out the original, you can read it here! https://aryion.com/g4/view/719424

If you're interested in reading the other alternate ending, you can read it here! https://aryion.com/g4/view/801235

This month of Patreon, I have a new short story out. "The Circle of Life" is the story of a predator learning that she might not be as dominant as she thought... If you're interested you can read it on Patreon right now!: https://www.patreon.com/posts/68866613

That was a fun trio of stories. I was trying to decide on which one I liked best between the original and the evil ending, when I noticed there's even a third version. Glad we got a happy ending as well.

...Well, she's still self-conceited and vain enough to get dressed-up while the people she's meant to rescue are dying, but we can't have the moon. Maybe somebody will convince her that it's a better look to show up poorly-dressed and sweaty to a villain confrontation to highlight just how quickly she had rushed there? Not to mention the extra saved people.

As for the other scenarios, I'm not certain on which one is worse. The villain is the one who killed more people, but she is open about her role and identified as a threat, whereas the heroine's cruel betrayal is the kind of thing that can shatter societies when it comes out. A big incognita would be how moral and intelligent the other heroes are. Were they the kind on which the "I had a rough childhood or something, I promise I'll repent" spiel would have worked? If so, they might also be dumb enough to let the heroine get away with worse and worse transgressions, and by the time they realize, she has absorbed enough powers to pull an Omni-Man.

As for the villain ending, the best case scenario is that she's taken down quickly or that she ends up taking over the city and it's revealed that her rule is more merciful and compassionate than that of the Hero Network.
