“Aren’t you forgetting something Sandbar?” asked Discord ominously, as he loomed over the scared-looking student like a scrutinizing spectre. His eyes tracing over the suspiciously skinny stallion, as for whatever reason the pony had so far failed to present the prismatic pellet necessary to pass the draconequus’s class. Discord’s eyes slowly scanning over the earth pony, clearly irritated that the noticeably skittish Sandbar was tardy for what the chaotic god considered a simple test of stomach capacity and a bit of energetic exercise in order to greedily gulp down a grade.

The words causing the stallion to shrink slightly as he flinched at the accusation, not sure how to react to his disorderly teacher’s question without also receiving a brutal bollocking. Discord seeming to detect this tangible apprehension, which he almost seemed to be savouring, as the assistant headmare breathed in the seriousness of the situation he had masterfully set up. An ancient spark of his former self appearing to glimmer in his ruby red eyes like a looming inferno, as though he was planning a tide of tortures for the silly smuck who had failed such an easy endeavour.

The intimacy of the interrogation only picking up a notch from here, as Discord casually plucked the smaller stallion from the flow with his mismatched mitts. The soft squeeze of his surprisingly strong hands thoroughly invading the pony’s personal space, as the manic deity effortlessly held the terrified earth pony like a helpless Heartswarming doll. His fingers tensing slightly in agitation as he held Sandbar aloft, and leaned in to begin quizzing the stallion on the whereabouts of his stomach-processed project. The intense look Discord was giving him doing little to dissuade his fears, as the menacing glare from the draconequus made it look more likely that he was going to eat the earth pony for flunking the course, than give him an unsavoury comment on his upcoming report card.

“Well…. Did you complete the task I assigned,” repeated Discord, more articulately, as he probed Sandbar for an answer to his simple query. It was a yes or no answer, as all the anarchic examiner wanted was to see a smidgeon of evidence that his frightened student had partaken in another pony or creature of comparable size. Sandbar’s forced smile starting to slacken, as a sweat of panicked perspiration began to noticeably pool from his brow, in a flash flood of perspiration peppered fear. The piercing gleam of Discord’s eyes doing little to help matters, as the erratic entity seemed to be looking into his very soul, in the search of even a wriggle of weakness. The mean expression on his face growing ever closer, until they were practically muzzle to muzzle, as if to say there would be no escape if the beast of bedlam was displeased with his reply.

“Umm…..” mumbled Sandbar, as the pony desperately attempted to frantically fabricate some sort of excuse in his racing mind. Everything sounding dumb, before out of the corner of his eye he caught a museful flurry of motion in his peripheral vision. Silverstream happily petting the yapping princess pellet, and though Ocellus seemed a bit more discussed by the mucus-coated mutt, it gave the stallion an idea, even if he had defaulted to the most unbelievable fib possible.

"Erm.... your dog ate it...." blurted the stallion, as even if what he said was utter shite it was better than nothing. Discord’s expression remaining the same, as though for a moment even the lord of chaos could not quite believe what he had heard. The silence perturbing beyond belief as Discord just maintained the unflinching eye contact, before letting out an unamused snort.

“I am the master of disorder Sandbar, did you really think that I have never heard that one before?” he asked rhetorically, causing the stallion to add another misting of moisture to his already sweat-drenched coat. The draconequus tilting Sandbar back slightly to have a curious gander of his barrel, in the off chance he might spot a suspicious swell, in the off chance that maybe he was somehow hiding a hairball somewhere on his perspiration baste persons. The slight inertia causing Sandbar to reflexively fidget in response to his underbelly being exposed, though he knew better than to start struggling lest this interrogation end with a belch and a stuffed gut.

“But if you’re refusing to “Spill your guts,” on who you snarfed, well I am allowed to do an internal investigation for grading purposes,” Remarked Discord as he mulled the stress seeping off Sandbar like a fine wine. The stallion far from relaxed, and his worry only grew, as a concerning click, Discord flicked his fingers to unleash new magical horrors upon the student stuck in his clutches…

Failing to pass a pellet, Sandbar now finds himself in hot water, as Discord is looking for a hocked-up hairball to evaluate. Unfortunately for the stallion, he has nothing to present, and unfortunately he is not a convincing liar, prompting Discord to perform an internal investigation in search of something to grade...
