TBH if Digest harmed the prey, the difficulty would spike hard. Given how hard they heal and inflicting that on the meal, it'd be a game over at some point.

I think it's old AI behavior because in the original game, Belome always ate Mallow who happened to be the last party member. I'm going to have to test this.

Correct. I did get her to be able to (visually) eat anyone, but the problem was that it would still always disable the last person in the party. So she'd eat Mario but whoever you have in the third slot would be disabled, and the turn order would lock up. I tried to find the right address to tweak (under the assumption that it must be possible, since that's how King Calamari's tentacles work) but didn't manage to figure it out.

Maybe things can work out since I consistently change the turn order by checking my equipment. I do hope the sisters each get a turn of digestion before losing their meal due to smug satisfaction. If you can figure out how not to get a game over due to this, unf~

Whew! That was a fucking hard fight even after I had to consult the wiki for equipment boosts. Who would have guessed that Peach is safer being digested than fighting? I thought that Aria and Pura would have eaten the other two and regened health through skipping our turns but eh. Maybe another time. Mario was so tanky that even the mega form was struggling to deal me damage. It took me about five fails to have to look at the wiki and form my team. Well, onto hard mode!

Trying to figure things out on easy was so much harder until you beat it for the first time, then hard mode is a breeze. I didn't even need Red Essence. Maybe I should ultra clear this but fuuuuuck that.

I think i stumbled over a bug or i did something wrong.
I get to the dialog scene in the sewers but after Melome's first set of dialog she bounces and goes to the top left of the screen not moving (i dont think that is intended)
