Reya helps console her teary sister Chloe after the latter loses control and devours and digests her best friend.

A journal story after discovering the concept of limerence and seeing my every past relationship and proto-relationship laid out before me, and entering something of an existential crisis spiral.

Reya mentions backstabbing to get anything to eat, so is she the type to coax prey into her and then not let them out? I also take it she's more of the preyish type since she notes her sister is dissimilar from her when being upset about potentially being eaten.

Chloe is a careful, cautious, predatory type - she usually eats unwilling prey once she is completely sure she has the upper hand and will always fight to escape a pred, regardless of their reasons. She's very controlled and doesn't like losing control, as you can see here - and being swallowed is definitely a loss of control!
Reya is more of an even switch - she's kinda reckless and incautious, and that's gotten her in some tummies, though she's naturally managed to escape them all thus far - in this timeline, anyway. Since talking to Valerie and joining the endo club, she's been seeing vore as more and more romanticized, and accordingly would be okay with being eaten and even digested in some situations. She's also begun fantasizing about being digested by the people around her - her girlfriend Rose, her friends Nicole and Zoya...
But Reya still doesn't particularly want to be digested, and most of her romanticization of vore is purely fantasy - and she generally wants it to stay that way, other than some safe tummy visits. (But again, she's pretty reckless, so they might not always be that safe...)

Oh, and as for the backstabbing, Reya tends to get her prey by stealth and trickery. Sometimes that's betraying someone who thought they were getting a safe ride, more often it's just sneaking up on someone who's alone and vulnerable.

Very nice depiction of the relationship between the two.
