A depressing and sweet end to the life of an unfortunate student . So much potential wasted away by a teacher who was supposed to love and nurture them.
I love when you write more realistic stories . Stories that have the depressing edge of death. You actually show how the rest of the world feels about watching their friends and family die. You also painted school as scary place to be lol
Miss Swann is such a lovely woman , but she can’t handle losing her students . And so her solution is to keep them forever… even though it means she kills them. And in this unfortunate students last moments they come to this sad truth .
My favorite part was the build up. All the while miss swan is so casual about the act yet still taking yhe time she does care for them. Honestly if it wasn’t for the tags I actually would’ve expected the student to come out of this alive . Or at the very least ask to be digested .XD
It makes you feel bad for the student but also makes you feel bad for Ms Swann. It’s like she’s suffering from extreme empty nest syndrome. And it’s clear there is no malice behind her actions . She doesn’t hate them, she isn’t evil like lynch . No she just can’t let go.
A sweet and depressing end .

There was one Halloween piece that Lampton did where they imagined all of the teachers as monster girls and Swann was a drider keeping her students tied up and 'safe'. I tried to, er, capture that energy.

Really nice story! From a physical sense it portrayed a really wet, gross stomach in a good way. For Ms. Swann herself I think it did a great job of capturing her personality. It's rare to see a sort of bubbly, cheery predator and what slips out when the decision to digest occurs. Her possessive nature becoming more and more apparent was built up nicely. As a random addition, her explaining her enjoyment of Nickleback had big Bateman vibes to me which was funny.

These stories are always the best to me because of the depressing/screwed up nature of them. A world where death is just normal, yet so hot. It’s always so interesting to think about. Hope you get the inspiration for more, Lampton has one of my favorite “worlds”.

Even with just the illustrations that you've done of her as reference material, you've done such a great job of capturing Ms. Swann's personality that I barely had to take any liberties. Thank you for letting me use your character and I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
