I always liked the concept of teacher preds . After all a pred who feeds into your childhood crush on a teacher is great. However it was rare I could find a good teacher pred .

What I mean is a lot of the time the creator lean so heavily into the pred aspect that the teacher part is neglected. Suddenly it is about some glutton who just likes eating students . Rather than a teacher who eats student.

It’s worse in a fatal setting. Because then the teacher eating a ton of students means they are willingly killing their students for no good reason. It’s one thing if they’re simply eating students who are harassing other students or are genuinely disruptive to the class .but a lot of creators have the teacher just eat students for no reason other than hunger. Which isn’t really a teacher .
Now of course , if the person is creating a bad teacher it works well. But its common that a creator will lean heavily into the gluttonous teacher , but still treat them as if they are a good teacher.

Now Don’t get me wrong , I actually like a ton of the stories and art pieces . But in my mind they miss the mark of an actual GOOD teacher . Teachers are supposed to want you to succeed . Teachers are supposed educate you. Teachers are supposed to help you. You shouldn’t dread going to class because of your teacher . You should dread going to class because the class is hard and it’s school.

With that in mind , I decided the best solution was to create my own Teacher Pred. While I don’t enjoy my own works , at least this way I get these thoughts out of my head. And if I’m lucky , inspire other people to write good teacher preds

( keep in mind I’m not saying the other stories and art pieces aren’t good, I’m saying that it’s rare that the teacher pred is actually a good teacher )
