We return to Amazonia! After Shane becomes Purna’s “pet,” he eventually indulges the panther girl in his connections with the notorious Thieves’ Guild led by a man named Raksha. The gray fox disappears one day not long after this, leaving Purna continuing her work…until a meeting with a maned wolf at the market takes an unexpected turn to an event revealing Shane’s condition and whereabouts.

This story takes place after 'Thief's Misfortune' and before 'Definitive Brew'. Originally written by Imiut.

I don't think the Fid-verse has been effected by Earth styled economical inflation, considering gold is still worth something.

Tbh, It's probably realistic for an Aztec based character to throw down something like that, because the Aztecs didn't value gold at all. They used Cocoa beans for currency.
