We return to Amazonia! After Shane becomes Purna’s “pet,” he eventually indulges the panther girl in his connections with the notorious Thieves’ Guild led by a man named Raksha. The gray fox disappears one day not long after this, leaving Purna continuing her work…until a meeting with a maned wolf at the market takes an unexpected turn to an event revealing Shane’s condition and whereabouts.

I imagine someone from Xolas's tribe was watching and most likely needed to step in because Xolas did something that he wasn't supposed to do, such as bidding away a irreplaceable necklace that wasn't to be given away.
