We’re coming up on my favorite time of the year again- October, or as I like to call it, the Month of the Monsters! As I did the last two years, I’ll be drawing a new monster every day of the month. However, there’s a twist this time. For 2023, several posts will be part of a story. These entries will catalog the discovery and research of mysterious creatures in a remote region known only as Sector VX8. There will be a lot of lore to sink your teeth into, along with several surprises along the way. I hope you all enjoy.

I invite anyone who feels so inclined to join in and draw their own creatures following the prompts. The prompts surrounded by crystals are the creatures from Sector VX8- if you choose to follow along with your own drawings, you can choose whether or not these ones will have any shared theme or lore.
