“Despite our best efforts to avoid any suspicious objects throughout Sector VX8, another transformation has occurred. A colleague, once again female, came into contact with an object resembling an iron helmet, which had the same coal-like texture of D1’s spike catalyst. The helmet placed itself atop her head, fusing to her cranium as it grew two large horns. Discharges of purple electricity arced between the horns, which the new creature- Subject D2 -could direct at prey to stun them before eating them.
Subjects L1 and L2 continue to display immense hostility towards with Subjects D1 and D2, and vice versa. They appear to regard specimens of the opposing type as mortal enemies to be destroyed with extreme prejudice. What is the origin of these creatures, and what drives them to behave in such strange ways? I must have answers!”
