To those who know Marisa, she can be summarized as one word: thief. She can never keep her grubby hands off of anything that doesn't belong to her. Thanks to her reputation, she has gained some notoriety among the youkai of Gensokyo.

One day, Marisa decided to pay an unsolicited visit to the Scarlet Devil Mansion to "borrow" some books from the mansion's librarian, Patchouli Knowledge. Unfortunately for Marisa, she would get caught in the act of stealing once again and finally be put in her place for her actions.
