Greetings, dear readers!
I may have a bit of time during the month of July to get on with some writing. That's the good news. The bad news is that I'm not feeling hugely inspired. Or perhaps just not sufficiently motivated and energised to write the partial ideas that I do have.
So, on reflection, I've decided to turn to you. This post sets out where I'm at with some of my various settings, and asks you whether you'd like to chip in some fresh ideas.
I've never done this before, but… why not?
International Vore Championship
Here, I admit I've stalled. I've run out of inspiration. There's a limit to the potential variations on the main theme, I think…
I'd like to get back to it at some point, but I'd need some ideas. Will Cherry, perhaps, travel somewhere new for a private vore, and face some sort of new experience? Can the regional qualifiers for the next IVC take place with an original twist? Until then, these stories may remain dormant.
Felarya
Fear not: We'll be seeing Milly again, of course! If only so as to see whether or not she can really trust Yemic. Also, I've been giving serious thought to a new type of story arc, with new one-off characters that we would follow for quite a while. To the point that I've written the first few pages… before stalling a bit there too.
So… Where could I do with a jolt of inspiration?
- Tina, my tomthumb character. For a long time now, I've wanted to be more focused on her. Show her as a character in herself, rather than just as a sort of adjunct to Milly.
- Jissy. The logical next step is for her to practice her water magic with Vivian. That's a starting point, but I'll need a spark of inspiration to make it into an actual story.
- My potential new arc. I don't want to reveal too much, but what would be useful would be ideas for characters to constitute a ship crew of 'civilised' (think Renaissance-level) human-sized dridders and human-sized harpies willing to venture off into the unknown.
- I'd also be rather tempted to write something with Karbo's succubi characters: Chalyssea, Meralimexia and their quite adorable and faithful servant Ashmet. But… I have no specific ideas. If you have any, fire away!
DotE!
Initially intended to be five chapters long,
Defenders of the Empire! currently consists in four chapters, and I may well leave it at that. On the other hand, I was struck the other day by the thought that I could return to the events of chapter 1 and branch them out into an alternative story line. During her Death Star run, Talana makes the split-second, random but ultimately crucial choice to turn right rather than left. What if she had turned left, though? We could imagine her and Arn actually destroying the Millennium Falcon and Wedge Antilles' X-wing, and preventing them from blowing up the Death Star. That would start off a whole alternate timeline, in which she effectively saves the Empire. The Imperials would win the battle of Endor, though the Emperor would still be dead (killed by Vader). From there… what could happen? If any of you have ideas, I might just explore them.
In short: After more than 170 stories in a variety of settings, my inspiration and creativity are running a bit dry. I have that one potential Felarya project going, and vague ideas for Milly, and… that's about all. At this stage, therefore, I would welcome any thoughts and ideas you might have.

Have you considered doing a stand alone snackapeople story? That early one one with the Arabic girl was one of my favorites.

Personally, I'd love to see more same-size work from you...though, I don't think it relates to any of these three topics. I do agree with mojo on the standalone snackapeople idea.

I had a few ideas of my own I'd like to see in story, but they're too weird for most authors and I have no idea how to write them myself:
My favorite idea is for a mad scientist to turn a willing volunteer into a girl. But something backfires and the scientist is turned into a dickgirl as well. Then they both dress in sexy outfits (made of something shiny, like latex), fuck, then one cooks the other. But that is a bit too much for most people.
I also had this one idea where I put a high-tech, sci-fi collar on the girl that keeps her head alive throughout the cooking and eating, then grow her a new body starting from the head.
As I said, I like shiny clothes, like latex or leather. I had an idea for a fireproof version that can hold spices next to the meat, like pouch cooking. It's fireproof, comes off in pieces, and is dishwasher safe. Much sexier than the little things they put on rack of lamb or turkey legs. I call it CookWear™

What if the IVC competitors had to tag their prey while the prey were still full-sized? Like, at the start of each round, each contestant has to tag a group of people with a sticker or something. Then the prey get shrunk and the predator has to eat all of the people they tagged in order to have another round of tagging. Another possibility is that the prey aren't shrunken to the same size, so some will be bigger and some will be smaller. That way, either the preds try to get bigger prey, which count for more points, or every prey is counted the same regardless of size and they're randomly distributed.

Interesting thought, but it wouldn't work in-universe. The pred girls wouldn't sign up if it meant the risk of being eaten. Plus, the loser of one contest might be the winner a couple of years later. They're celebrities in their own little world; most of their fans wouldn't want to see them get eaten.

Hmm. That's a thought, yes. A game of tag, of some sort, before the vore. A couple of possible problems, though: If a pred has to eat all the people she tagged in order to progress to the next round, that may not be an incentive to tags many. Although… The scores would be cumulative from one round to the next, and she'd need to have the highest score by the end. So she'd need to balance the risk of overeating in one round, on the one hand, with the risk of not tagging enough, on the other! I like it.
The other possible problem being: How would Patricia compete? She's in a wheelchair… Unless I use this scenario for one of the regional qualifiers, rather than for the world finals. Or… what type of terrain did you have in mind?
Varying the sizes wouldn't really be feasible, though. We don't want there to be a risk of the girls choking…

I think you can elaborate the day-to-day live of the IVC competitors. Training, celebrity, how their own sexuality was jumbled by the vore.
An idea one other author made was to create a vore club with seasons where the preys were digested in the end of the season. And if special case of prey were presented before the competition, with one prey is numbered as ten regural ?
Or you could also make the story from a beginner who search to be as the same level as one of the IVC champion and you show the all the path to greatness..
The inspiration come from reading so I can only advise to read what the others write to inspire yourself.

Emily and Annie have a great relationship and with Emilys powers it gets really dramatic(not because of the vore, but because it is a reason for annie to leave emily). Why not continue their story?
Annie coud develop the same kind of powers (or new ones) like Emily and while Emily is confronted by the police and maybe put into a cell, Annie must use her newfound ability to rescue her girlfriend. But before that, she must choose if she want to live with Emily and her maneating-problem or not.

I'm… not quite sure what you mean.
Yes, that's a possibility. I've already written several beginner characters, though. So there'd be a risk of it seeming repetitive.

Thanks for the idea, but I'm not sure I want to return to Emily and Annie. They've reached a point where I think Emily really is going to try to control herself. And if they end up being fugitives on the run… where would they go?
It's an interesting idea, and I'll think about it, but I probably feel more comfortable leaving Emily and Annie where they are at present.

The first idea, i read your stories and i found your day-to-day live were more the continuation of their vore activity between competition. But what of their life when they go buy groceries and then you have protesters against vore ? Or An invitation to a talk show for a few where they have dare to do ? And you have also to explain if vore have, or not, animpact on the health of the competitors ( because many sportnabs and sportwomans have health issues due to specifics products...).
The second idea, it's more about the recent idea of our proper celebrities to appear no more in one or two but more fields of art. Music, movie, phtography, video games... What if the IVC competitors did the same for publicity ? What of the contrary ? If celebrity wanted to know what is vore ? A few try to go as pred and others as prey. And then, if they are prey of comptetition, they are considered golden prey or a thing like that where all the amateur attention is on their consumption by a competitor ? (You can then use the idea of mean to group all the prey to see who take the best prey).
The third idea was more of a entire serie of stories, than you could feature the different competitors in a way or not, who explain the step to become one of the best competitors with the benefits and the difficulties. How her family react, who her first prey are... Demystify the whole vore universe for the rest of their wolrd.
They are just idea but if it can help

Hmm. Yes, why not. But I'll have to see whether any specific ideas come to me. Because again, just writing about them going shopping isn't really a story in itself… And having them be interviewed is something bedfordsb and I have already done a couple of times.

Could we see the Vore championships from the tinies view? Something like a competition for the tinies the winners of the competition get to be the food for the final of the Vore championships.

We've already seen the IVC a few times from the point of view of the "prey". I'm not sure a competition to be eaten would be feasible, since really the IVC organisers just take as many volunteers as they can get.
I've received several ideas about the IVC, though, so I probably will be writing a story in that setting.

I'd love to see the fifth and final chapter of the Star Wars miniseries, if you can find inspiration for it. Maybe have some of their fears come back to haunt them? Maybe end on an ominous note regarding the First Order taking note of their child, years after the Galatic Empire dissolved, and the last little segment is a haunting purposeful cliffhanger leaving the fate of their children unknown as they're wrenched away from the now-retired couple? Maybe their struggle to protect their children from being taken and indoctrinated by what is far more obviously a radical and cruel organization, with the first part dealing with the end of the Galatic Empire as we know it and the second giving a glimpse to their lives in the New Republic after their forced retirement, then the latter half of part 2 deals with the First Order idea ^ ?

I like your idea; thanks. But… The thing is, my story follows the old Expanded Universe canon, rather than the new SW7 canon. In that original canon, the First Order never exists. Instead, the Empire shrinks but never fully disappears. Eventually, the Empire and the New Republic become allies against the new threat posed by the Yuuzhan Vong. My fifth and final chapter was due to skip a couple of decades ahead, to this time. But after writing a few paragraphs of it, I'm not really happy with it.
Which is why, in this blog post, I started considering a new path: Writing an "alternate history", starting from the events of chapter 1. The Empire wins the battle of Endor, and Talana therefore lives in a galaxy quite different from what we see in the films. She's still serving a powerful Empire - albeit one in which the Emperor and Darth Vader are indeed dead. But I haven't got any specific ideas beyond that starting point.
