Friday updates will be quick this week, as I'm winding down today's studio session and have to quickly pivot to heading up to my part time job. But there's some good news on the horizon.

First, I've already started work on my next comic with Groblek, tentatively titled "The A&P of Unbirthing". If you enjoyed the body exploration in Expedition into Mukat and the unbirthing action in Her Possessions, you'll love this story exploring three cases of different unbirthing and pregnancy scenarios with three different patients. I just finished the storyboards on this piece this afternoon and expect to charge forward with this project as soon as I've wrapped up the last of my open commissions, so stay tuned for more news, and maybe a teaser or two.

So, fun fun fun updates this week! First, I want to share what a big success April was for me. Your commissions helped me bring in nearly $1,935 that went towards keeping me housed and safe. It was a bit short of the $2400 I need to make to break even on everything for the month, but I had enough help from friends and family elsewhere that I was able to make it work. Thank you so, so much to everyone who helped support me throughout April - I would genuinely have been in deep, deep trouble without all of you. I know I've been away from the community for a very long time, but having people rise to the occasion and meet me where I was meant a ton to me. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

It's the end of another week! Ack! I can't believe I've made it through the whole month of April! I was worried, at the get-go of this month, that I wouldn't make it all the way to the end and meet all my bills. I'm relying entirely on my ability to draw to keep the lights on, and I actually pulled it off for an entire month so far. So hats off to me, I guess!

It really hasn't been easy, and it doesn't look to get any easier in the near future - May is quickly approaching, and while I have enough in the bank right now to cover the last of my bills for April, I'm only now starting to work on May's bills. Hey folks! Wanted to pop in briefly and let people know that commissions are still in progress - I updated my Commissions Status page here yesterday with where things stand so far. This week has been a bit of a sucker punch for me though - Monday saw the burial of one of my grandmothers, which I had to watch from home for lack of means to travel cross-country for her funeral and burial at the moment, and today had me waking up to a badly sprained neck and shoulder. I've been recuperating and resting in bed most of the day, and while depression has kind of kicked my ass this week I am still making progress on folks' commissions. I finished the sketch of one drawing yesterday, and started inking another.

Hey gang, another week down, another few dozen hours poured into making art! Let's see how things are shaking out.

First, I've gotten the first two pieces I've been commissioned to draw wrapped up and posted, and third piece just got paid for, meaning I can start work refining, inking, and coloring it here this coming week. I'm really excited about this one, as it features the absolutely gorgeous Hydaelyn from Final Fantasy XIV and the client's Viera player character in some cozy soft vore, so keep an eye out for that coming out soon! Along side that will be an upcoming illustration featuring Mukat where I've been given free rein with the content of the picture, but I won't reveal *quite* yet what I'm planning there.
