Wind Rider refused to let his head
hang low. He had done what he had to do… and he would have
succeeded too if it weren’t for that meddlesome unicorn, and her
mangy pega-partner. “Don’t touch me,” he snapped at the blue
Wonderbolt mare who had been asked to escort him, the Wonderbolt in
question rolling her eyes and just stepping behind him to make sure
he did leave. The joyous shouts of the rainbow mare he had tried to

It was the middle of the night, a
half-moon high in the sky as a lone figure jumped the fence to Sweet
Apple Acres, stealing their way onto the orchard. Light hoof-falls
went unheard by all, nopony seeing the gangly figure of a tall and
lithe stallion working their way from tree to tree, approaching the

Aryanne
couldn’t believe she was doing this. The pure white mare trotted
back and forth, her immaculate black uniform clad tight on her form,

Germane accented voice barked.

“Argh! Buck!” Backstabber cried
out as he fell to the floor, slamming onto his back. “Luna damn

hooves to her chest. They wandered down her dented metal armour,
seeking out the buckles and tugging at them. Click. The buckle
slipped open and she pulled the chest plate off, tossing it to the
side. Reaching down she felt over the bruised flesh where the armour
had buckled, a rifle bullet clear in the dent.

Skyheart poked the fire with a stick, sighing loudly as she looked up
at the chest full of golden coins sat opposite her in the otherwise
dark cave, deep in the woods. What was the point of stealing all this
treasure when you couldn't spend it? Those coins could get her so
much... but the guard were looking out for griffon drakes... she
wasn't going to just bury it, and she couldn't risk being searched
with it on board so here it would stay. She'd spend the night here,
