Ephemerid. Dear lord, Ephemerid. In the midst of my low mood yesterday, I played that game and it hit me SO hard. Never would I have thought a game about mayflies with a paper-theater theme would affect me... But it was beauty. Just pure beauty and exactly what I needed to pull me completely out of my funk for the day. It's a short, musical game with a powerful soundtrack and I seriously recommend anyone give it a shot.
So, of course, I knew I'd have to draw something based on it...

I need to draw more. I've seen people having success daily sketching... I had some success until I got lazy before. So! New attempt at properly doing daily sketches. Don't expect them to be amazing or anything, but..you know..At least it is me drawing? Yay!
A bonus for me is that if I just keep track of them as 'daily sketches', it both incentivizes me to keep at it since you all know it's supposed to be daily, and I don't have to come up with titles. :D

I initially made this as a submission to Swallowtail's Consumer's Digest with their open call, but as far as I can tell it didn't make the cut, what with the magazine having been sold at FWA. As such, given I'm still proud of the work, experimental success, and general quality put into and gained from this, and so here it is for all to see.
