Fishmouth - 8 years ago
Even the most prim and proper aliens tend to forget their manners in interstellar space. Though Zab-trab didn't really have much manners to start with.
Zab-trab's actually the opposite of a character I was playing around with many years ago named Gertie, the Intergalactic Empress of Etiquette. She carried around a book of Earth etiquette and vaporized humans who didn't hold doors open, or didn't say bless you after a sneeze, etc. Zab just does what he wants!

I'm so glad you like the concept. As for poor Andy dying in vain, I had wondered what people would think of that. In my original sketches I just had the bear spitting out Andy's clothes. But the current way seemed better since it added a bit more oomph, and it makes the bear a bit less diabolical and a bit more hapless as he tries in vain to keep his meal hidden from the boss man.
