Winter
The Winter had been harsh, so
cruel had it been that the toll small town
of Rosewood had been completely isolated in
a bowl of snow and the nerves of the
residents had been growing thin for some
time.
The many different species which
lived within Rosewood’s calm
neighbourhoods were now at wits end, the
food supply, which had
mainly been cattle had fallen victim to the
cold weather and any crops which had remained since the harvest had
long since perished. The supermarkets had been

Thank you!!! The Marian series is the easy favorite among things I'm writing. I'm hoping to write quite a few parts for her journeys, making a different "arc" for each location like the Dark Forest. So many plans, but hearing encouraging words like this makes executing those plans feel less like work :^)
