Alright, so, needless to say my last story was not as well received as the first, and so an expedition must be launched to get to the bottom of this! After all, I want to improve not, um, dis-under-prove. Yeah, that sounds right.
Probably the lion in the room is the ending. In and of itself, nothing wrong with it. The original premise had simply been a shorter, light-hearted and absurd scenario where Ainsley bounded in, accidentally saved a town, was told she could have anything she wanted and, well, take a guess where that went. Truth be told, that probably would have been better received as it was more to the point and remained a good deal fluffier. But instead I found myself fleshing it out into somewhat fuller story, trying to add some vague sense of depth to it all. And...
