Fuck, there's a throwback! I haven't watched that series in years, but Roger Smith is easily one of Steve Blum's best roles. One of the best giant mech anime out there with the likes of Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, and Evangelion.

I'm personally partial to Vincent Valentine and Guilmon, but Roger Smith and Spike Spiegel are just timeless roles of his. ^^

excellent piece, love how true you stayed to the mood of the series with this color palette. also goes without saying but easily a top 10 anime of all time for me, the themes flew right over my head the first watch but became a lot more apparent on the second time around—existentialism and mecha really do go hand in hand, now you’re going to make me watch it for a tenth time!
