"On your left, ladies and gents, you'll see the famed 'gravity assist' technique in action. Right about the point when the predator's belly is beginning to fill with her prey, she'll use all of her muscles to tilt her head back and let the prey's own weight send her to her doom. This is right about the time when the prey usually realizes that all hope is lost, and they're about to be gastric stew. Good for them."
Another page, and another way of coloring. :) I really do like the way these turned out, though, even if I didn't learn much at all about how to make a traditional-looking piece in a digital medium

Very nice^^ That series was really great, I really like the coloring on this one.
For some reason ''gastric stew'' sounds really hot.

Shame. They were a lovely couple.
Oh well. The zebra looks lovely inside the lioness too, so I guess it's not a total loss. ~_^

Well, it was a relationship doomed for failure: Every night they'd argue about what was for dinner, at least until Thera ran out of family and friends.

Awwwwww, poor Thera. I guess I'm getting soft hearted. The zebra is cuddling in post-coital bliss with her new-found lover, having convinced herself it's all going to be okay. Of course the lioness wouldn't eat her after they'd just done that, now would she? Her oh-so-well-built lover puts a paw behind her head and draws her close, and Thera leans in for what she assumes is a kiss. . . only to feel her muzzle slip between Leandra's teeth! Thera's eyes go wide, her mane stands on end! She pulls back, she pleads with the lioness with her eyes, but Leandra doesn't even notice; famished from her love making session, the hungry predatoress is ready for some fresh zebra haunch!
Thera struggles like they all do, but it's all for naught; in the end, the weight of her hefty zebra haunches and legs drives her to her doom, sliding into an voracious belly, evolved over thousands of years to take zebras like Thera apart. Thera's kicks and struggles give the fed lioness some last pleasure as she lies back savoring her meal.
Thera's friends waited for her but she never arrived. Eventually they decided she must have taken a wrong turn, and met an unfortunate end. It's common enough for zebra's in the plains after all.

And Thera had always thought being so pear-shaped would be to her advantage...
I guess not once you're already upside down in a lioness' throat and all that weight is pushing you down into her belly!

Especially since there's so much weight in that lump rump of hers. ;)

The panel where the zebra suddenly realizes it's being eaten is an instant favorite of mine. I need to stick that theme in (more of) my drawings. 83

Thank you! I wish I could have figured out a good way to show both hers and the lioness' face at the same time.
Posted by Strega 15 years ago Report
Only a cutaway allows that unless you show a "just before the vore" frame. I think you captured the zebra's expression very successfully. 83

Once her nose slipped between her teeth she could see it was all over. ^^ I don't think she could get away even if she wanted to. Especially with those claws in her butt cheeks ^_^ That Lioness deserves a rest to digest that tasty meaty treat.
Posted by 4ofSwords 15 years ago Report
And the lioness got -exactly- what she deserved.
Posted by Straxacore 15 years ago Report
Well I am glad for her. she must of been tired after eating Thera. All she had to do was digest. Lazy Zebra.
Posted by 4ofSwords 15 years ago Report
Lazy, lazy, meaty, tasty zebra.
Posted by Straxacore 15 years ago Report
Well maybe not too lazy. She has to slosh through a lot of gut yet I bet that takes a while ^_^
Posted by 4ofSwords 15 years ago Report
Lucky for her, the lioness' belly does most of the work for her.
Posted by Straxacore 15 years ago Report
Well then she really is a slacker. Good thing she is soup now.
