A lonely, lovelorn woman is found by a friendly spider in her lucid dreams, and is taught some uncomfortable truths about who she really is. Does have a happy ending, though!

Side note: I will never stop being sad that "Kiss of the Spider Woman" as a title was taken by a much better work of literature. Curse the luck.

soul vore absorption... OMG *bows appreciatively*
My primary vore motivations and spirit world & material world interaction as I see it too. Now this is... i am at a loss for the words. And the fact Arachne was not deceiving her all along just to eat her for more power *drools dreamily*, this was... wow
Wonderful read, delicious story, and your description of the soul absorption was inspiring <3

Oh man. This is really, really well done. I'm a sucker for... let's call it "mysticism". Otherworldly encounters as plot device. So that's a plus. And you included a melty digestion, which is my favorite kind. But, more importantly than my own preferences (which are no basis for criticism OR praise), you executed this extremely well. Your concepts are novel and your descriptions are beautiful. A very, very good story overall.
Keep up the good work!

Beautifully written. Among others, the moment when Jennifer senses her body being lost, and is instinctively troubled and alarmed, and Arachne soothes her - destroying her body without her consent, yet telling her the truth, awakening her to something new, caring and gentle. The absorption, as experienced by Jen, was also wonderfully written.

Hard to believe it has already been a year since you first posted this beautiful soul absorption, spiritual merging story. I still find it to be the best example anywhere of absorption via spiritual merging.
Though it could be argued Jen was "reluctantly" willing since was "coerced" by gentle, but firm manipulation. Mmmmmm, reluctantly willing <3
