I was uninspired last night, so I turned to my "unfinished work" folder. This pic has been in that folder for about a year -- I think I drew it at Further Confusion this year. I often draw a G-rated pic first thing at a con to warm up before starting in on the porn. 83

His clawed gauntlets have openings for his own claws. That is a really efficient way of doing damage to the enemy.

Leaving openings in the leather part of the gauntlet for them was the only way to go other than trimming his own claws. And the latter is no fun, badgers have nice big claws.

Okay and why would he need a sword? lmao
Nice claws >_>

In 3.5 D&D there are big advantages to using a two handed weapon vs. using two weapons at a time. Silly, but there you are.

One of these days I'll need to read through 3.5 rules without growing disgusted and deleting the file. A lot of people talk well of 3.5 and yet agree with me that 4.0 is WoW for table top.

3.5 has its own problems. Spellcasters are massively overpowered, to the point that it's a bit depressing to write up melee classes (most of the preds I write up are melee types). Even without splatbooks, the flexibility of mages/clerics/druids thanks to the HUGE variety of spells puts melee types firmly in their shadow.

Sounds like someone forgot the lessons of 1.0 & 2.0 >_>
But i'll remember this IF I ever go looking for newer edition games.

i just noticd a random fact... on the gauntlet on the ground the placement of the thumb claw makes me think its a right handed gauntlet... yet his right hand already has a gauntlet on it
Posted by Strega 14 years ago Report
Ah yes! We artists call that a 'mistake'. Not fixable without some work, so hopefully no one else will notice. Thanks for pointing it out. 83

hehe it only took me like 6 days to notice

One mistake I make a lot is the color of Nyoka's tail. It supposed to have a blue center with white on either side. Almost half the time it has a white center with blue on either side. 83
