What's that, Mr. Lemur? Oh yes, she is a cute fossa, isn't she? Why not go and say hello?
Oh, nonsense. So you saw her wrap her mouth around your friend's whole head and then you ran away? She probably just likes to give deep kisses.
And you haven't seen your friend since? I'm sure he and she had a wonderful time. He's probably sleeping it off somewhere. But he's not here now, is he. Now's your chance!
That's a good man. You just go right up and...oh dear. She does like those deep kisses, doesn't she? My goodness, up to your waist already. Maybe she just wants to lick you in a certain spot.
Oops. Maybe not. What's that? I can't quite understand, your voice is all muffled suddenly.
Oh, you want me to come and help? No, sir. I'm afraid you're on your own. What could I do, anyway? Grab your tail before it disappears?
I guess the good news is we know where your friend is, now. I bet it smells like lemurs in there....
First try at a fossa vore pic, after seeing one at the San Diego Zoo last weekend.

A very interesting pred, and I love the dialogue that goes with it.

Is a fossa an fictional or a real animal?

It's a viverrid carnivore native to Madagascar. They look sort of like a 20-25 pound mountain lion with a longer muzzle.

Ooh I like it.

Yup.

I just love unusual species, particularly as predators. Why aren't there more fossa art about? They make amazing predators.

I saw one at the zoo once and they really are neat critters. Plus, the males have genuinely enormous schlongs. But like a lot of little known critters they don't get as much art as they deserve.
