Hah, thanks, and I think they are. Some snakes take 4-5 days to digest a rabbit, but that's whole. This would be kinda close to chewing, which I think shortens digestion time.

I mean, it's all a guess, but it's probably the closest anyone's gonna get without havin an actual reference.

you're right, reactions accelerate as pressure, temperature or reation surface increase, and the chwing stuff definetly increases the surface.

Amazing Byo, very scientific.
Are the fur, teeth, and bones regurgitated (like in owls) or just pass through undigested? ‘Cause if the remains are not removed from the stomach, it would build up over time and create blockage, wouldn’t it?

Thanks, and things like that would be small enough to pass through. Any sharp points on teeth or bone pieces would most likely be smoothed by the Gizzard, so there isn't much of a chance that they'd catch on anything.
But unnatural things or things that are too big to be digested could get stuck and end up hurtin 'em :I

Hm, I'd like to experience that digestion if only I could survive past the crushing and at least a few cycles of chemical digestion. And not suffocate of course. But this is not the place for such unrealistic expectations. Good job!
