Something has entered this world. It's nature is unknown, it's power unprecedented. And somehow it's ended up in the hands of Josh Fawkes, a small and somewhat adorable arctic fox... with a past so secret he knows nothing of it.

As for his future... well, also currently resident here is another interloper. A creature of madness and desire, lust and sensation and eldritch energies. He is the first among Shards, and he recognises this power, even if the little vulpine doesn't.

And Goldeneye has a score to settle here...

Part 1 of a commission for the adorable and lovely Pipfox, here at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/paradox043/ This features my own Goldeneye ( http://aryion.com/g4/view/228004 ) and Josh, property of Pip. Part two, where things really get interesting, will follow soon.

Contains: Gryphon griffon griffin arctic fox vulpine avian unwilling willing fear terror emotional mystery torture abuse cuddling purple ring Void Goldeneye Josh pre-vore

Infinitesimally minute. Equal in power to a tiny pebble dropped through mirror-still water: the world barely disturbed by it.

Oh jeebus. When your story opens like this, I know it's going to be delicious.

No tock. It was as if it wanted to draw on the silence as long as it could.

Love this.

Yes. Because the true villain of this story is actually.... THE CLOCK!

MOAR @_@
It had so much of what I love. Drama and mystery in an intriguing banking institution; rings and jewelry; predator and prey dynamic; extended voreplay; and of course, your wonderful lyrical narrative.

I also love how you handle anthros. Denizens of Eka should take note. You write them so well - so fluidly - that the fact THEY are anthropomorphic does not detract from the story-telling as a whole. It embellishes it, especially with creative social cues (twitching ears and tails) and creates intrinsic world-building, such as the nuances amongst all of the species.

Raccoon as a bank managers or employee? Brilliant. Like the archetypal bandit or outlaw from the tales of old. And handsome rabbits ha! I love how you handle this.

O, THERE WILL BE MOAR. O_O

Well, I do like playing with the little cultural itsy-bitsies of an anthro-populated world. They won't make a big thing of it at all - in fact, you tell Alex or Jess or Josh that there's a world populated by a single species, and they'll probably laugh. "But... oh, come on! What about the population? It'd probably be about as high as... hell, maybe two whole billion! Still, at least what with everyone being so similar, they'd never get any wars or discrimination..."

Yeah, political satire. I went there. :P

But thank you very much. The mysteries shall be revealed... along with plenty more voreplay and predator-prey cuddles and chats.

Brockheim I honestly didn't consider... it was just "species? Umm... eh, raccoons are nice." Interesting to see how it could also be read into. ^^ As for the rabbit... Hehe. Maybe I could make him a recurring character - the handsome rabbit, always at the scene of the crime...

Ooh. Actually... *wanders off, muttering to self* >:3

I really enjoyed this... I found the ending both surprising and pleasant.

Very interesting characters you have here, yet again.~

Heh heh. Thank you. ^^ Although this isn't the endng... but yep, nice to be happy for a while. And when you get past his sadistic, dominating disposition, a gryphon is an enormously fun friend to have. :>

Heeeheeheh. I don't think the fox should have any reason to complain about the aggression... actually, it's more like it doesn't matter if he does.

I've always enjoyed seeing the softer sides of these dominating creatures. Josh is one lucky guy. ^^

Wow... Wow. This is really great. Oh, by the way... I have heterochromia. Mine, however, is sectoral. About three quarters of my left eye is brown, the rest is green... I have to say, gold and purple would be SO much more awesome. Once again, a wonderful read!

Ooh, really? Niiice. I want herterochromia myself, really. A little bit envious.

But yes, purple and gold would be the best result. Pretty and shiny. :3

You see, the fun part about having heterochromia is when you tell people to look at that eye. Their reactions are usually pretty funny...

:3 Thank you. Plenty more to come...

I will admit, I am thoroughly enjoying the chance to do some "d'aww"instead of torture for once. :P
