Well, S.J., Easter is celebrated as the one day of the year when bunnies used to reproduce by laying eggs. Since it happened only once a year and was seldom witnessed, ancient civilizations were frightened when they were so fortunate to see it. So they would steal the eggs from their mother and paint and color them so the mother wouldn't recognize and hatch them to produce more egg-laying bunnies. After a while, the species of egg-laying bunnies went extinct but the tradition carried on with chicken eggs as homage. XD

My love of puns (good and bad) and prevailing sense of humor (three types, to be exact, depending on mood) are generally the source of my "creative" wordplay. But don't worry, I get as many dry spells as I do jolts of inspiration, so it can be a toss up.
Anyway, great work, as always. Your level of skill and fun personalities/situations make your work so enjoyable.
