How many times have you killed this kid off?
Dying seems to be more of a mere inconvenience than actually scary for him. Maybe he does have a gift. Perhaps unlike his sister who is an unstoppable killing machine, he's been chosen by fate to be her forever meal. Dying and then brought back to keep her appetite and lust sated and to keep her from doing something crazy and stupid and winding up in jail
