I was hoping you wouldn't mind that I posed her to cover up some things ;; I just feel better about drawing nudity that way. I'm really really glad that this turned out to your liking so much-- I had an incredibly fun time working on her! I really felt like drawing that sort of expression on her; I don't know a whole lot about her character so I don't know how well it fits, but if you're pleased with it then it can't be too far off. :>

And don't worry; I have absolute faith that you will make Tartarus look beyond awesome. Seriously. BEYOND awesome. Because all your art is amazing. @@;

Pfff, why would I mind? I would never ask you to do something you're not comfortable with! Besides, you drew her how YOU see her, and that's far more valuable than anything else! :D

Xzevri's personality is relatively based around being a daddy's girl, or a princess. She's very full of herself, pouts a lot, and if she doesn't get her way, well, she looks exactly like you drew her here! :D So yes, I'm unbearably pleased with what you did <3

I've actually never drawn any sort of centipedal anatomy so I'm looking forward to it! It's gonna be an awesome challenge that I'm super stoked about >:3

Oh geez drawing a super pouty face would have been really fun to draw too though, now that I know that >>; I captured more the idea of "you wouldn't like her when she's mad..." I just have so much fun drawing menacing expressions like this one, ehehehe. And trying to do so with a one-eyed character was extra fun, since this is the first time I've actually done so. It opens up a whole different way to try and draw faces.

I have to say that when it comes to Tartarus, he's kind of an enormous pain in the ass. Having 40 legs might have something to do with it... but I know you can pull it off <3 I hope your finger gets better soon! And if you need to know anything else about him, drop me a line, though I leave the pose and such up to your discretion.

Nope. Xzevri was retired years ago. The character design never really clicked with me and I ended up just admitting defeat. I think I gave the design away to a friend but I don't remember, honestly.

If the posing actually appeals to you, great! I suppose in a way it does allow you to create whatever image you most enjoy in your head, rather than having everything spelled out in detail. I figured that, if anything, people would be disappointed about the lack of explicit nudity; it's nice to hear otherwise! Thanks <3

Each one of the stalks looks like they have a mind of their own, and it just adds even more charm to the pic for me. Also, for some reason the scenario popped into my head that she's covering her breasts to make herself look at least a little more human, but there's actually eyes where the nipples should be. Yeah, I'm weird like that -_-

I'm glad you like that! I did try to give each of the eyes a bit of their own personality. Unfortunately, in the original picture (by this character's creator) that I drew this from, her nipples aren't eyes-- but I personally would be all for something like that, despite me being prudish by nature. I just love creepy stuff way too much; you're not alone. >>;

I can be okay at cel-shading sometimes, but it depends WHAT I'm shading... some things are just an incredible pain in the ass, and I've found that my soft shading technique these days looks a whole lot nicer overall. I'm glad you think it looks good, though! Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime.

your soft-shading does look absolutely amazing. I just wanted to say that this didn't look bad either.

and i agree, some things are a ton easier to cel-shade than others. ;v; like, IMO, Myoga was 2hard for celshading and so I quit.

But you also make hella smooth lines, so it looks realllly good when you do it IMO.
