A Lady's morning toilet cannot be rushed, and many are surprised to find that alligators (and crocodiles as well, I suppose, though I am largely the former) have quite sensitive skin. Facial care is a religious matter for me. At least an hour then, every morning, is devoted to preparation of my appearance, and it is time well-spent. As a delicious young playwright once said, "To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance."

Due to the peculiarities of reptile skin, I do not use foundation, but I do make use of a porous polish. The exact contents of a toiletry kit are a lady's well-guarded secret, though many of the boutiques which sell my unmentionables also keep stock of my cosmetics kits.
