Hmmm. Gertrude can withstand a LOT of damage, and since I don't see Sneak Attack on there, I'm gonna guess that attacking will just wake the slumbering kitty up. So, I'm going to go with Eat Gertrude hands-first. We don't want those powerful hand pounding on us if she wakes while we're eating.

I would have gone with use the swallow but not spacificaly stated if Shinara would use it for a finishing blow attempt like a smash to the windpipe or just a normal strike.
